The Construction Management Association of America [CMAA] Student Chapter at California State University, Long Beach is led by officials who place the utmost importance in moral integrity and ethical decision-making to promote academic excellence. With the Construction Engineering Management department at California State University, Long Beach requiring all graduates to have three months of paid, full-time internship before graduation, the CMAA Student Chapter strives to place all qualified individuals in the program who are seeking an internship into an internship opportunity.

Under the new leadership of Johnny Kim, the Construction Management Association of America [CMAA] is now an active Student Chapter at California State University, Long Beach as of March 10, 2016. The Construction Management Association of America [CMAA] Student Chapter is in close ties with the Associated General Contractors of America [AGC] Student Chapter to promote academic excellence in the Construction Engineering Management department at California State University, Long Beach.
